Formerly on Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 11 "Our Town", Although Caroline is in no mood to rejoice her 18th birthday, Elena, Bonnie and Matt surprise her having a small party in an unusual location. Damon and Stefan disagree on the simplest way to handle Klaus, and a reckless Stefan decides to test his theory by taking what to dangerous extremes. Bonnie is concerned while Elena tells her with regards to Jeremy's new plans. At a Founder's assembly, Alaric once again incurs Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto), who is in the midst of an argument with your ex ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner (guests star David Colin Henderson). Tyler refuses to go together with Klaus' latest demand, and is surprised when Klaus generally seems to accept his decision.
On this week's Event title "The Ties That Bind", Bonnie is reunited together with her estrange mother, Klaus negotiates with Stefan to overpower the coffins of his loved ones; Tyler tries to get back his free will; and Damon becomes intrigued by Alaric's new buddy, Dr. Fell.
The Vampire Diaries is definitely an American teen supernatural drama television series produced by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the book series of the same name authored by L. J. Smith. The series premiered on the CW Television Network in September 10, 2009, and is currently with its third season of which premiered on September 15, 2011. The series takes devote Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small city haunted by supernatural beings. The main focus from the series is the love triangle relating to the female protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) in addition to Stefan (Paul Wesley) in addition to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), all of whom have got dark pasts. Later light is thrown on the mysterious past of the city involving Elena's malevolent doppelg?nger Katherine who seeks revenge resistant to the town, Stefan, Damon, and Elena.

The series follows the life span of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) a 17-year-old girl, who falls for the 162-year-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefan's bad and malevolent elder brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns having a plan to wreak havoc around town and also to prepare a revenge against his / her younger brother. Both brothers begin to indicate affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance with their past love Katherine Pierce. It is revealed that Elena is usually a descendant of Katherine, who eventually returns with plans resistant to the trio.
The series is from the fictional town connected with Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged along with supernatural history since the settlement of migrants from New England from the late 17th century. Other story lines revolve throughout the other inhabitants of the location.
